Become a Participant

During the International Financial Programme (IFP), you work on real-life cases for companies throughout the year, starting in September. In April and May, the group travels to an emerging country for five weeks. The first two and a half weeks are spent conducting research for companies, while the last two and a half weeks are reserved for travelling and discovering the country together.

Social development

After the research phase, you travel for two and a half weeks through the destination country, exploring its culture and nature

Professional experience

In the months leading up to the trip, the focus lies on acquiring contracts with companies and preparing the research. The group works with organisations that want to expand into new markets or strengthen their current market position. Together with your fellow researchers, you will visit companies and attend valuable training sessions on consulting and research skills. The workload for participants is about two days a week.

Personal growth

Throughout the project, you will develop your skills in sales, research and consultancy. Each phase of the project is supported by workshops and training sessions led by professionals. For example, during the acquisition phase, when we approach potential clients, you will improve your sales and communication skills.

Socials

Besides the professional aspect, IFP places great value on building strong connections within the group. Every two weeks there is a social, often with drinks at our favourite pub. On Mondays the group has dinner together, fun activities are organised regularly, and a participants’ weekend ensures that you really get to know one another. This makes travelling after the research not only more enjoyable, but also strengthens teamwork during the project.

Travelling

After the research phase, you will spend two and a half weeks travelling through the chosen country. This is the perfect opportunity to explore the local culture and nature together with the group you have come to know so well.
