Below are some of the projects we’ve completed in recent years, showcasing our experience and commitment to quality.
Notable Projects
FrieslandCampina
Because of the growth potential, in 2019 FrieslandCampina was interested in entering the Tanzanian dairy market, through knowledge transfer and by setting up production facilities. The IFP performed market research in which the market and the local value chain were identified through the ‘Where-top-play’, ‘How-to-play’ and ‘How-to-organize’ analysis methodology. Based on our research, we provided FrieslandCampina with the information and advice to choose and carry out the most appropriate market entry strategy for a successful expansion in Tanzania.

Philips
The main goal of this research was to form recommendations for Philips to recover their market position in the health sector of Peru. When in Peru, the main goal was to answer Philips research questions about brand credibility and customer satisfaction. This was done by conducting interviews among customers. These customers will be both public and private healthcare organizations.

Akzonobel
Before the cooperation, Akzonobel did not have production facilities in Tanzania. One of the goals of Akzonobel is to expand its business in Eas-Africa and attain more brand loyalty in the growing market for paint and coatings in Tanzania. A team of the IFP has conducted market research for Akzonobel. Aspects of the research were, amongst others: macro-environmental analysis, competitors, consumer behavior and potential strategies for market expansion.

PWC
The IFP supported PwC’s Energy Research Institute with a study on the future of biofuels in the Netherlands. By comparing the relatively mature Brazilian biofuels market with the developing Dutch market, the project identified transferable lessons for policy, infrastructure and market development. The results provided PwC with insights and recommendations on how biofuels could contribute to the Dutch energy transition.

Leaseweb
In 2025, the IFP conducted research for Leaseweb on the Brazilian IaaS sector, the largest and fastest-growing cloud market in Latin America. Through desk research and fieldwork in São Paulo, opportunities and challenges were identified. Based on this, the IFP advised Leaseweb to pursue a phased entry strategy through local partnerships and pilot projects.
